Setlist is a jam session and open mic planning app for iOS. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's handled. It covers the Setlist app specifically — not xbandconsult.com's other pages.
Setlist doesn't have accounts, emails, or passwords. Instead:
Session content exists to coordinate a live event in real time — building a setlist, assigning a band, running a queue — and is visible to whoever's in that session via its join code. We don't use it for anything else: no advertising, no profiling, no sale to third parties, no marketing emails (we don't have your email to begin with).
Session data is stored in Google's Firebase (Cloud Firestore), which acts as our infrastructure provider. Firebase's own handling of the underlying infrastructure is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. We don't share session content with any other third party.
A session's data is kept until whoever created it removes it, or until someone contacts us (below) asking for it to be deleted. Leaving a session from within the app removes your device's association with it but doesn't delete the session itself, since other musicians may still need it.
Setlist isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Session data is protected by Firebase security rules scoped to each session's join code and the anonymous device identities that have joined it. No system is perfectly secure, but we don't collect anything beyond what's needed to run a session.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
